In Loving Memory of Our Son,

Sleep Well, Our Prince Of all the special gifts in life, However great or small, To have you as our sonWas the greatest gift of all. May the winds of love blow softly, And whisper in your ear: “We love you and we miss you, And we’re always holding near.” We keep you in our hearts—Your life, a cherished flame, To love, to honor, and remember, Though life won’t be the same. No more tomorrows to share, But yesterdays live on, In every silent thought and tear, Your memory is never gone. We love you, we cherish you, Forever and so much more—Always and eternally, Your mother and your father. Sleep well, our Prince.

As well as a second poem dedicated to Zahkuan's life:

In Loving Memory of a Soul Taken Too Soon,

Beneath the sky's unending blue, A star burned bright and swift and true. Only twenty-six, a tender flame, Now whispered soft-a cherished name. He walked this world with gentle grace, With dreams alight upon his face. His laughter danced like morning light, His heart a beacon in the night. He gave more love than he would say, And lit the dark along the way. His spirit soared, unbound, immense, A symphony of innocence. Though time was brief, his impact deep, In every soul, his footprints sleep. A brother, son, and dearest friend, A life too perfect for this end. But love like his cannot depart—It lingers on in every heart. And though he's gone from mortal view,So rest, sweet soul, your journey done, Your light absorbed into the sun. We'll hold your name with tearful pride-Forever walking by our side.
